I completed a Bachelor of Science from Southern University A&M with an emphasis in psychology and a minor in French in 1997. My lifelong passion has been helping others in crisis situations, relating to people on their level by showing them they have options, and the world is a small village that we are all connected to each other. In 2003, I completed a master’s degree in Rehabilitation counseling from the University of Alabama. Then, in 2005 I completed an Education Specialist Degree in Counselor Education with a specialty of family marriage and community counseling from the University of Alabama. For the past eighteen years or more I have been serving adults and children with mental health and substance abuse issues. Some of the areas that I have addressed in the past are: Domestic Violence, Play Therapy with Young Children, Adults (both genders), and Adolescence. Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anger and Stress Management, and Suicidal or homicidal ideation.
Our mission
Our mission is to provide affordable mental health support to the Tuscaloosa and sorrounding areas. We address a variety of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, and relationship difficulties. My aim is to improve my clients' overall well-being by helping them develop coping skills, increase self-awareness, and navigate life's challenges. My ultimate goal for providing mental health counseling is to promote recovery and help clients achieve their personal goals and potential.

By making mental health counseling more accessible and affordable, we can improve the overall well-being of individuals and communities.
